I can’t quite believe it’s two years since I left my corporate City job. Looking back I realise that I had to make the jump, it was the only way for me to find my wings.
It really has been a journey of self-discovery and in doing so I’ve discovered what makes my heart sing.
I’ve reignited my passion for learning and trained as a yoga teacher. I can honestly say I’ve never felt so fulfilled.
I’ve managed to achieve a balance between work (which honestly doesn’t feel like work!), family commitments and time for me. I know how difficult it can be to find time for you, but it really is a necessity. I promise that everyone around you will reap the benefits.
I now start my day with a short yoga practice. I start with a few moments of stillness, the chance to connect with my breath, turning my focus inwards, working on deepening and lengthening my breath. It’s a great way to focus the mind and set my intention for the day. Then depending on how much time I have, I do some simple poses to warm up the spine and wake up the body, followed by some sun salutations and a short warrior sequence.
I then feel energized and ready for work. Over breakfast I check my emails and then I’m ready for my first client of the day, which could be Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift, Massage, a yoga class or a 1:1 client. No two days are ever the same and that’s what I love about it.
I’m eagerly looking forward to January, as the work will have finished on my garden studio. I then look forward to welcoming you to Hill House Studio for small group classes, private classes and one to one training.
I am also going to be offering wellness packages, where you will be able to come for yoga, relaxation classes and treatments either on your own or with a group of friends. Anyway more to come on that in the new year.
In the meantime keep an eye on my facebook and instagram account over the next six weeks, as I’ll be sharing more with you there.
So just remember, if you want to make a change, you have to take a leap of faith. Believe in yourself, as anything is possible!
